Our gentle, well-trained donkeys serve drinks, distribute party favors, and engage guests, making every occasion memorable. Whether it’s a wedding, birthday party, or corporate event, our donkeys add a special touch that guests of all ages will love.
Pricing
Donkeys for Events
Our starting package includes both donkeys for a two‑hour event at a rate of $600.
Deposits
A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking and is non‑refundable. The remaining balance is due 7 days before the event.
Additonal Costs
If you’d like to extend your booking beyond the initial two hours, additional time is available at $100 per hour. For events located more than 20 miles from our base, a travel fee of $1.50 per mile applies.
Payments
All payments are processed through our secure online payment platform, where you can view your invoices and pay using any major credit card or your bank account.

What can we expect when booking with Donkey of the South?
You can expect that a minimum of 2 handlers will be present at all times with the donkeys. We will have our donkeys dressed and ready to go by your event. Feel free to take pictures, give scratches and treats to our donkeys.
Do all vendors allow beer donkeys?
Please check with your venue prior to booking with us to ensure they allow donkeys on property.
Who is responsible for providing beverages?
It is important to note we do not provide ice or beverages, including alcohol. We will serve alcohol or other beverages that you provide.
What type of payment methods do you accept?
For your deposits and payments, we use an online portal that you can pay using any major credit cards or bank accounts.
